Out Of Town? | Naples Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Stanley P. Gulin sees a number of patients who live either full-time or part-time out of the Naples-Fort Myers, Florida area. A number of these patients are referred by relatives or friends or self-referred. The staff at Plastic Surgery Associates of Naples-Fort Myers takes every effort to make the total stay for each out of town patient as comfortable, safe, and convenient as possible. Assistance is given with hotel accommodations as well as postoperative nursing care. Procedures such as face-lift, eyelid surgery, brow-lift, breast augmentation, breast-lift, liposuction, breast reduction, and fat transfer (injection) can be performed comfortably on patients traveling to Naples. Most surgery is performed in the fully accredited on-site surgical facility located in Naples, Florida.
The initial discussion can be undertaken with our patient coordinator over the phone or by email. This can also be aided by photographs sent by email. Following this, an initial consultation with Dr. Gulin is scheduled. This consultation can be scheduled well in advance of the procedure or a few days prior to the scheduled procedure if suitable arrangements and discussions have already taken place. Lab tests, EKG, and medical clearance, as well as a discussion with the patient’s primary care physician are done well ahead of the proposed surgery date. If the initial consultation was more than one month prior to the proposed surgery, then the patient is seen a day or two prior to surgery again by Dr. Gulin. It is asked that patients not fly less than 48 hours prior to surgery and stay in Naples approximately 10-14 days. |
