Short Scar Face Lift in Naples
Who chooses a short scar face-lift?
Many women and men seen by Dr. Stanley P. Gulin at Plastic Surgery Associates of Naples-Ft. Myers do not need all the benefits of full face-lift or neck-lift. Instead, they would like to reverse some of the early signs of aging. Limited jowling or early sagging of the neck is easily corrected with a short scar face-lift. Cheek sagging also can be corrected through this procedure.
About the procedure
Most short scar face-lifts performed by Dr. Gulin involve an incision only in front of the ear extending slightly in back of the ear. Through this incision the deeper tissue is tightened allowing any jowling to be smoothed and the cheek elevated.
Like most cosmetic procedures, Dr. Gulin performs a short scar face-lift in his fully accredited on-site plastic surgical facility located in Naples, Florida. The procedure is performed under twilight sleep sedation anesthesia administered by an anesthetist.
After the procedure
Most people return to usual activity four to five days after this procedure. Minimal bruising or swelling is seen. Patients are able to shower the day after surgery.
After a short scar (limited or mini) face lift by Dr. Gulin at Plastic Surgery Associates of Naples-Ft. Myers, more contoured jaw and more youthfully shaped cheek is seen. The cheek is usually fuller and raised. In addition, the nasolabial folds are smoother. There is a generalized smoothing of the cheek with a more natural defined jaw line. |
